Inspiration: Where to find it and how to keep it!

Now we all know inspiration comes in many forms and as easy as that sounds, its not quite that straight forward. So I’m writing this guide you might call to help those who need a little tap into the right side of their brains!

First of all, I believe the best way to ‘find’ inspiration is to not look for it in the first place! Its not a physical object, you can’t find it.  You can feel it. Think about it this way: Do you look for happiness? No! You do something you enjoy and happiness comes along.

So here are 3 basic tips to help transform you into the Picasso within you!

Tip 1:

Be active! Slacking off physically & mentally does not help, it actually prevents ‘inspiration’. Find something you love whether its music, a sport, reading, drawing or writing, and just do it.

Tip 2:

Don’t stress! Stress can lead to depression, fatigue, heart disease and many other problems! There has been a study that shows that just enough amount of stress can actually be healthy. However when thats not the case, there’s a breathing technique that helps in moments where you’re just about to blow up! Close your eyes, and take 10 deep breathes. This will not only calm you done, it will get your nervous system back to balance!

Tip 3:

Find time to meditate! Whether its fun or serious we all need time in our day to find our balance. To be honest this is the hardest tip i had to learn in getting ‘inspired’ because sometimes we forget or we get caught up in other matters.  What i’ve learned is to make it a daily habit. Meditation can help unclog any ‘negative’ thoughts.

Now how easy are those 3 tips?

Go off and find your inner Picasso!

Minamilsm & Deculttering

Since this is all about decluttering, were gonna make this one short and easy!

A way of life. A state of mind. As we set assail to a new summer, we want to get rid off those unnecessary things, be it habits or physical object that we don’t need or use. I found my self having all this extra clutter in my room, that just didn’t seem to belong. Just taking up space with no use, so to start of a fresh summer I decided to declutter under my bed, throw away some dust-covered books on the top shelf etc. It was kinda easy to throw out old papers from under my bed but my helmet is staying where it is! Its my lucky helmet every time I go horse riding ;p.

After a couple of hours of sorting out and reorganizing, finally everything is where it needs to be(hope it stays that way), and I must say that I have more room to relax and I might even add a few thing from now and then. Much better!
